There’s a new photography exhibition at the Open Eye Gallery that I went to see today – Intersections Intersected. It consists of work by the South African photographer, David Goldblatt, who has selected ten pairs of photos, each pair consisting of one black and white image from the apartheid days and one in colour, taken since the end of apartheid. Each pairing makes a subtle comment on the nature of change (or continuity) since 1990.
